Get the app
Go into the television's built-in store (the Apps area on a Samsung, LG's Content Store on an LG) and download IBO Player from there.
Read off the codes
Start IBO Player. The screen shows the set's MAC address beside a device key. Copy both out carefully, or photograph them.
Link the TV to your login
Using a handset or laptop, reach the activation page for IBO Player. Key in the two codes there, and add the three login items from the welcome email.
Reopen the app
Quit IBO Player and launch it again. Channels should now fill in, though the first fill can take a short while.
Good to know. On these sets the login cannot work alone. The television's own two codes are what tie it to your account, so steps two and three are the ones to get exactly right.
Fire TV Stick with Smarters Pro: Best UK IPTV setup

Add Downloader
Type Downloader into the stick's search box and install the result. It is the route by which IPTV Smarters Pro reaches the stick.
Open the door
Work through Settings, My Fire TV, Developer options and switch Install unknown apps on for Downloader. A warning appears, and for IPTV Smarters Pro it is expected.
Pull in Smarters Pro
Launch Downloader, type the address of the official IPTV Smarters Pro download page, let the installer finish, then select Open.
Log in
Inside IPTV Smarters Pro choose the Xtream Codes login, enter the three login items from the welcome email, add the profile and let the channels load.
Smarters Pro only. TiviMate has its own block further down. One stick follows one set of steps, never a mixture.
Fire TV Stick with TiviMate: Best UK IPTV setup

Add Downloader
Search the stick for Downloader and install it, because it is the tool that fetches TiviMate.
Open the door
Work through Settings, My Fire TV, Developer options and switch Install unknown apps on for Downloader, so that TiviMate may be installed.
Pull in TiviMate
Launch Downloader, type the address of the official TiviMate download page, let the installer run, then select Open.
Log in
Inside TiviMate choose Add playlist, then Xtream Codes. Enter the three login items from the welcome email and wait for the channels to appear.
Same stick, different app. TiviMate also suits Google TV and Android TV sets, but it has no version for handsets.

Switch to Google Play on the television or box and look for TiviMate.
Download it
Install TiviMate, then start it from the home screen.

Download IBO Player
Using the Apple TV, visit the App Store, look for IBO Player and select Get.
Copy the codes
Open IBO Player. It displays two codes, the MAC address and the device key. Note both with care.
Activate from a handset
Pick up a phone or computer, visit the IBO Player activation page, key in the two codes and add the three login items from your welcome email.
Relaunch
Close IBO Player on the Apple TV and reopen it so that the channel list can arrive.
Check the codes twice. One wrong character is the usual reason an Apple TV stays blank.
iPhone and iPad: Best UK IPTV with Smarters Pro

Read the label
Check the underside of the box for its sticker and copy the MAC exactly as printed. Keep it to hand.
Enter the portal
Open the box's settings, find the servers or portals section, and type in the portal URL listed in your welcome email.
Save and restart
Save the setting, then restart the box so that it connects to the portal.
If nothing loads

Which app belongs on which device?
Use IPTV Smarters Pro on iPhone, iPad, Android handsets, Windows, Mac and Fire TV. TiviMate is for Fire TV and for sets running Google TV or Android TV. IBO Player is for Samsung and LG televisions plus Apple TV. A MAG box needs no app.
What exactly is in the welcome email?
